Radeon TV-Out echt zo slecht? - Videokaarten en beeldschermen

ik heb nu een Voodoo3 en die geeft best leuk beeld, is die radeon tv-out nu ook goed?
ik geloof ook nog dat er verschil is tussen all in wonder en de gewone tv-out op de SDR:?

als ik het stuk hieronder lees is het niet zo best, iemand ervaring ermee?

many people are looking for a viable TV-Out option in their video cards. The Radeon, I am disappointed to report, drops the ball miserably on this one.

TV-out "works" but I use that term in the loosest sense. It puts a picture on my TV. That picture suffers from numerous faults though, it is fuzzy and washed out and especially in dark scenes of movies or areas of games there is an awful horizontal line effect.

I assumed as usual that this was something I had overlooked and could be fixed. I stopped over at some prominent Radeon forums hoping to gain insight into what went wrong and found... others who agreed. Post headings such as: "Radeon TV-oUT is @ss!", "Tv-out sux", and my favorite, "DVD movies sux0rs wiht my card!" painted an unpretty picture. After playing with different driver sets, monitor settings, TV settings, and changing the video cable to monster cable, I too agreed, TV-out is in fact, ass with the Radeon.

Hoop het niet, heb em gisteren besteld voor mijn vader, m.n. vanwege de TV-uit. Of had ik toch beter de matrox 450 DH (16 mb) kunnen nemen?

Waar heb je trouwens die reactie vandaan? Kan ik zelf ook even zoeken.

hmm waar weet ik niet precies meer
deze review heeft in ieder geval ook bij nieuws van tweakers gestaan

maar ik zou het graag eens willen horen van een radeon gebruiker hiero

SG surft naar info hardewaren

Heb er geen ervaring mee kabel te kort moet dus 'n veel langere kopen

Heb 'm gekocht voor 32bit en DVD playback 64Mb

ViVo is leuk maar niet nodig heb liever 'n stand alone DVD speler maar wilde het wel proberen
maar de Vin is wel interrestant want er zit ook 'n miro DV studio in

Elke TV-out geeft niet superbeeld. Het is altijd nogal wazig. Dit komt omdat een monitor veel scherper is dan een TV.

tja maar mijn voodoo3 doet het leuk hoor

in dat artikel worden dingen genoemd als horizontal line effect daar zit ik echt niet op te wachten

maarje heb de radeon al besteld en de voodoo verkocht dus laten we er maar het beste van hopen

Maar als je dan 'n DVDtje kijkt op de TV is dat dan nog slechter als gewoon TV kijken?
normaal is DVD een stuk beter als gewoon TV kijken..
