[SBS/Exchange 2003] CEICW werkt niet

Ben nu bezig met een server werken maken met Exchange , helaas was door de vorige beheerder de meeste onderdelen verkeerd geinstalleerd. Exchange was half om half geinstalleerd , veel DNS fouten in het logboek. Server tools installatie halverwege afgebroken enz , services die niet starten enz enz.

Dus meteen flink aan het opruimen geweest , exchange 2003 verwijderd (handmatig volgens ms docu) en de dns fouten fouten opgelost , server tools opnieuw geinstalleerd en de nodige services werkend gemaakt.

Toen daarna exchange 2003 opnieuw geinstalleerd , helaas bleek er nog een 2e exchange server in de site te staan , dus alle de RUS+Postmaster account naar de goede server verhuist , en de nodige exchange attributen die naar de verkeerde server wijste aangepast. Om daarna de verkeerde server te verwijderen.

Hierna was de planning om de internet connection wizard te runnen , programma opent netjes de nodige stappen gevolgt en geklikt op finished. Helaas ging het verkeerd op de firewall en email configuratie. Daarna de nodige ms-docu's erbij gezocht en alles netjes uitgevoerd. Dit alles mocht helaas niet baten , onderstaande wat er allemaal is gebeurt :

-companyweb opnieuw geinstalleerd
-server tools opnieuw geinstalleerd
-virusscanner verwijderd
-Acces aan iedereen gegeven van default website in IIS
-Smtp service nagekeken
-Gezocht naar verborgen netwerkadapters

Je bedoelt het ongetwijfeld goed, maar als je niets te zeggen hebt... Je link is zo generiek dat de TS daar echt niet verder mee komt. Bovendien zien we zelden zo'n uitgebreide topicstart als bovenstaande.

Als suggestie wordt daar gedaan om met SBS Setup (Add/remove programs) het onderdeel Networking and Administration te herinstalleren. Dat was ook mijn eerste gedachte omdat je daarmee een groot deel van de CEICW en bijbehorende componenten herinstalleert. Kun je hier wat mee?

Heb inderdaad op die fout gezocht , en ook de manier heb geprobeerd die op eggheadcafe staat (zie beginpost), Error 0X80070003 staat voor een foute directory in de IIS , ook daar de nodige virtual directorys weg gegooit en de service opnieuw gestart zodat deze de virtuele directorys opnieuw aanmaakt.

Heb in die 2 dagen ook via google flink wat sites bezocht , helaas geen van de oplossing werkten. Stel dat het werkte had ik hier niet gepost , dit is gewoon de laatse optie

Geen oplossing helaas, maar zou een schone installatie zoveel werk zijn? Zelfs als je het werkend krijgt, hoe kan je ooit zeggen dat zo'n installatie stabiel is.

ja heb de practic analyzer al gedraaid , geen vreemde fouten gevonden. Het is 1 klein dingetje wat fout staat , de rest draait stabiel.

Als ik kijk naar de tijd die je er tot nu toe in hebt gestoken zou je ook kunnen overwegen om een call bij Microsoft PSS te openen. Kost je 300 euro maar dan heb je wel wat.

Step 1: Check the related settings in IIS manager

1. Go to IIS manager console, check the ISAPI Filters for Default Website;

2. Check if we have a folder in C:\Inetpub\sbsftl on the SBS server;

If we have the folder we need to have sbsflt.dll and stsfltr.dll present.

In the event we don't have these files please copy the files from
Disk3\SBS\SBSFLT folder

Jup, en heb ook een artikel gelezen over dat de sp herinstallatie bovenstaand probleem kan verhelpen.
