Ik heb een Philips Vesta PCVC675K webcam, onder w98 werkt hij perfect, maar onder windows 2000 krijg ik hem niet aan de gang. Ik heb de "drivers" geinstalleerd (VestaWebUpdate14.exe), maar tijdens de installatie krijg ik te zien dat bepaalde Registry keys onder w2k niet verwijderd kunnen worden, en dat ik dat zelf moet doen mbv devicemanager. Welke keys zijn dat, hoe kan ik het probleem omzeilen, of zijn er andere drivers? (Ik vind het vaag dat er bij installatie keys verwijderd moeten worden trouwens).

If the camera once has been installed on a Windows 2000 computer it is not
possible to upgrade or reinstall automatically due to Windows 2000 protection.
Before upgrading or reinstallation all Philips Camera related Hardware Devices
have to be removed manually from the system. Please act as following:
1. Unplug the camera.
2. Select "Start/Settings/Control Panel" to open "Control Panel" window.
3. Start "Add/Remove Hardware" in "Control Panel" window.
4. Press "Next" in the "Welcome to Add/Remove Hardware Wizard" window.
5. Select "Uninstall/Unplug a device" in the "Choose a Hardware Task" window
and press Next.
6. Select "Uninstall a device" in the "Choose a Removal Task" window and press
Next.
7. Select "Show hidden devices" in the "Installed Devices on Your Computer"
window.
8. Scroll through the devices list to select "USB Composite Device" in the
"Installed Devices on Your Computer" window and press Next.
9. Select "Yes, I want to uninstall this device" in the "Uninstall a Device"
window and press Next.
10. Press Finish in the "Completing the Add/Remove Hardware Wizard" window.
11. Repeat items 3 till 10 to remove "Philips VGA Digital Camera;Video" and
"USB Audio Device".
Remark: If the Philips PC Camera is installed using the PCVC675k/PCVC680K
installation disk version 1.1 or 1.2 or it has been plugged in before
any other installation disk or the Vesta Web Update 1.4 has been
started on a Windows 2000 computer, an unknown hardware device called
"Composite USB Device" marked with an yellow exclamation mark will be
installed. To restore the system to be able to do a proper installation
or upgrade of the Philips PC Camera this device has to be removed as
described above in stead of "Philips VGA Digital Camera;Video
