Exchange 2007 + OWA: Outlook licentie vereist?*

Standaard staat OWA aan bij exchange 2007. Nu blijkt dat MS voor elke gebruiker waar OWA aan staat een OFFICE licentie vraagt.

De vraag is nu of het mogelijk om er voor te zorgen dat bij een nieuw aangemaakte gebruiker OWA std uit staat. Maar hoe?

dit heb ik inderdaad ook begrepen, en die heb je sowieso nodig als je een gebruikt aanmaakt.

Nee, geen bron, momenteel. Heb het nu opgelost door alles uit te schakelen voor alle gebruiker middels.

Exchange Server 2007 is offered in two client access license (CAL) editions: Standard CAL and Enterprise CAL.

Oftwel Standard Exchange 2007 Call is voldoende om OWA te mogen gebruiken.

Precies, alleen als je outlook wil gebruiken moet je daar (logischerwijs) pas een licentie voor te hebben

Inderdaad.

Heb mijn baas ook even gewezen op, de MS website. STD CAL is aanwezig. Outlook gebruiken ze sowieso en OWA valt onder de STD CAL dus verder geen probleem.
