[SoB] hitparade van 24 augustus

In het inmiddels 2 dagen oude topic [SoB] hitparade van 23 augustus is te lezen dat er na ElitehHackers nog een nieuw subteam naar SoB komt; DPC_Stealth genaamd. En nu maar hopen dat die combinatie van Stealth en Hacken ons wat extra koetjes op gaat leveren want anders zijn we voor 11 oktober al ingehaald en dat kan natuurlijk niet de bedoeling zijn .

Nu snel de stats van gister want de stats van vandaag kunnen over een uur ook alweer gepost worden

Can someone please explain how the stats work exactly?

Seems like we as a subteam appears and disappears, including users although we as a subteam now flush continuesly.

Selecting the subteam EH team registered, it disappears as well as my own username ...

Not sure why though... Any help would be appreciated.

In the stats at http://sob.qik.nl/ I only see the EH.info subteam. If you click on it it you will see you're subteams stats page. At the moment You and suduct are the only members. This is the direct link to your subteams statspage: http://sob.qik.nl/index.p...er&type=user&user=1000034

The first table shows the daily scores of the individual members, 2nd table shows the total score for each member. Third table is the daily score of the EH.info subteam within DPC and the fourth table shows the EH.info overall position within DPC. The graphs shouldn't be a problem (daily scores, total score - pending tests_. And then some "When do you get them" stats for the EH.info subteam followed by a graph of a 40 day score prediction. Finally at the bottom you can change the date...

New members can, after appearing in the stats at sob.qik.nl, register themselves and join EH.info. Or you post a request in the most recent DPCH to add a new user to EH.info. Me or another poweruser will then assign the subteam.

Seems SuDUcT had a little accident, causing a negative score. The most common reason for new users to get a negative score is if they forget to restart their computer after they install SoB, as for some reason SoB will restart the test after the first restart, causing you to loose all the points you earned so far for that test (I remember that happened to me )

It might be good to restress you have to reboot after installing the SoB client (at least on Windows) before starting crunching

I've installed a lot of clients (300+) during the SoB project and never had any problems.

Then again, you're not a new user.
The problem with the negative scores is that people don't read the FAQ completely or/and they're not used to reboot if the client doesn't ask for it.

Most of them were normal workstations and all systems should be shutdown after work.

Like the Dutch saying, to kick in the open door... You didn't install SoB in Windows but some kind of *nix, right? Just ./sb sclient.conf or some kind of service.

I'm curious what the output of EH is going to be, very curious.

All of them were windows.. some 2000, some 2003 server but mostly xp (70%).
