"Pandora moet het opensource-antwoord op de Nintendo DS worden"
Wie vindt dat, de nieuwsposter of de mensen achter Pandora? Uit de Wiki FAQ haal ik namelijk:
"Do you really expect it to compete with the PSP / DS / eeePC / etc?
No, we don't. Pandora is very different than anything currently available. It is designed to serve a niche market of hobbyists and retro/indie gamers. We are aware that much of the general public will not need or appreciate Pandora's feature set. It is more portable than a UMPC or eeePC, and it has far superior gaming controls. Pandora is much more powerful than a PSP or DS, and with it's high resolution screen and qwerty keypad is more capable of general computing activities. Het woord "moet" is dus enigszins ongelukkig gekozen. Je leest ook in de reacties terug dat hiermee aan het artikel een bepaalde draai wordt gegeven (lezers die antwoorden: nou ik denk dat het helemaal geen concurrent voor de DS is of kan worden) die eigenlijk ten onrechte is.Het is nog al een eenzijdig artikel die vooral de aandacht legt op de emulatie-mogelijkheden en geheel of nauwelijks geen aandacht besteedt aan de andere mogelijkheden. Hij is vooral bedoeld als:

It is designed as an ultra portable open source computer with gaming controls, it is very small, around about the same size as a DS. It can easily fit in your pocket." (bron openpandora.org)."
Dit komt waarschijnlijk omdat de auteur zijn info overgenomen heeft uit het Retrogaming-artikel. Uiteraard legt Retrogaming (hence de naam) bij de berichtgeving de nadruk op de emulatie-aspecten. De schrijver had er beter aangedaan ook even de 2 links onderaan het Retrogaming gebeuren te klikken en te lezen.
Op de website openpandora.org staat trouwens: "When and where can I buy it?
Sometime around April/May 2008 (for developers) and June/July (for casual users) via UK, USA, Germany and Turkey." Dit is dus deze zomer ipv najaar ("die dit najaar te koop moet zijn ").
