Ik ben momenteel bezig met de installatie van Exchange op ene Win2k3 r2 server.
Echter de forestprep faalt:

Als je forestprep doet worden er toch gewoon een aantal ldif bestanden in AD geïmporteerd? Volgens het log bestaat het record al dus is het misschien al een keer goed gegaan dat je het nu dubbel doet?
Zou eerst kijken of die DN inderdaad al bestaat en het attribute 'mayContain' ook 'assistant' bevat. Dan de ldif bestanden die geïmporteerd worden opzoeken van cd-rom en de rest van die inhoud met AD vergelijken. Weet je in ieder geval tot hoever het goed is gegaan.

Yup. reboot gedaan , geen effect
vandaag en gisteren gehele herinstallatie gedaan met alleen DNS DHCP en AD.

krijg nu wel 1x de volgende melding te zien..

Ook op locatie werkt het niet
Voor de zekerheid weer format. ipv R2 nu Standard installed.
Alleen AD +DNS geinstalleerd
weer same error...

M.a.w : 1 kast win2003 meer staat er niet.

1. Ik zie dat je al eens hebt geprobeerd iets met exchange 2000 hebt geprobeerd?
2. Niet om vervelend te zijn: Van welke groups is het account waarmee je dit uitvoert allemaal member?
3. Misschien moet je met ADSI edit aan de slag.

exchange 2000 was die KB item van, dus bij gebrek aan beter,
Install is exchange 2003..

verder is het de standaard administrator, is schema admin alles!
adsi edit.. hmm don't prefer that
