[E2K]Specifieke user kan niet inloggen op exchange webmail

Al mijn user kunnen prima inloggen op de mailserver via Exchange webmail.
Ik heb 4 users mailboxen die door meerdere personen gebruikt worden d.m.v mailbox toevoegen aan je outlook.
1 van de 4 user mailboxen kan ik niet mee inloggen op webmail. Hij blijft maar met het wachtwoord schermpje komen. Ik weet zeker dat het het goede wachtwoord is. Ik heb met de user op het domain ingelogd dit gaat goed. Ook outlook mailbox werkt hier goed.
Als ik als die user ingelogd ben kan ik ook NIET ingeloggen via intern webmail. (normaal geen us/pw nodig) hij vraagt hier dus wel om de username en password, maar zodra ik dit invoer vraagt hij het nog een keer
Ook dus werkt dus niet.
Als ik de public folder via web inlaad gaat het wel goed. http://server/public maar de /exchange werkt dus niet. Dit is de enige user met dit probleem. Heb de AD settings al gecontrolleerd. Web access is allowed.

We maken gebruik van Exchange 2000

Security log geeft geen fout. Komt helemaal geen melding in binnen als ik met de user probeer in te loggen. (Zodra ik fout wachtwoord geef wel)

Heeft iemand een idee waar ik nog meer kan zoeken voor een oplossing ?

Test je vanaf een systeem waar je met een ander account wel kunt werken?
Gekke tekens in wachtwoord aanwezig / taalinstellingen?

Het gaat hier niet om een account van een gebruiker, maar een account waarvan op verschillende werkstations gebruik van wordt gemaakt.

Ik heb op meerdere werkstations geprobeerd in te loggen op /exchange maar wilt niet lukken.

Het is wel een Useraccount in de AD, maar het is niet een account wat door een user wordt gebruikt.
Het is een extra mailbox die een aantal users in hun outlook erbij hebben.

Heeft deze user misschien een afwijkend mailadres? Probeer eens in te loggen via https://mailserver.fq.dn/[e-mail]/ ? Toevallig ook met Entourage inlogproblemen, of gebruik je dat niet?

De username is inderdaad niet gelijk aan het email adres ( wel gelijk aan alias)
met jouw idee moet ik wel inloggen maar krijg vervolgens een page cannot be found.

entourage nog nooit van gehoord...

edit: als ik blijf proberen in te loggen met juiste wachtwoord krijg ik deze melding:

Voor als iemand ooit ook dit probleem heeft:

HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized

CAUSE
The user account you specified for logon does not have an appropriate SMTP address. To determine the appropriate Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) address, follow these steps:

1. Start Exchange System Manager.
2. Browse to Servers/server name/Protocols/HTTP/Exchange Virtual Server/Exchange.
3. Get properties of the Exchange virtual directory.
This is the default OWA virtual directory created during Exchange Server Setup.
4. On the General property sheet, note the value from the field labeled Exchange Path. An example of this value is "company.com (default)." In this example, only users with an SMTP address ending with @company.com can use the Exchange virtual directory to access their mailboxes.

RESOLUTION
There are three methods to resolve this problem.
You can modify the SMTP address of, or add a new SMTP address to, the users who are encountering the error described in the "Symptoms" section of this article. You may want to do this if the problem is confined to a few users or only users who have incorrect SMTP addresses.
Modify the SMTP domain serviced by the Exchange virtual directory. You may want to do this if most or all of the users in your organization are encountering the error described in the "Symptoms" section of this article.
Create additional virtual directories for additional SMTP domains. You may want to do this if your organization has multiple SMTP domains or if you are using Exchange 2000 for hosting.

Gewoon een extra SMTP adres aanmaken maar dan met het standaard domain erbij.

Entourage is Outlook op de Mac, daar zou je ook dit probleem gehad hebben (vandaar dat ik het even vroeg )
