Winxp slow logon 2003 netwerk, userenv.log errors

ja hallo,

wij hebben last van het volgende fenomeen namelijk; wanneer gebruikers inloggen op ons netwerk ( 2003 servers R2, winxp sp2 clients ) levert dit niet de gewenste snelheid op, het inloggen kan in het ergste geval soms 9 minuten duren daar waar het soms op andere werkstations aanzienlijk sneller gaat.

werkstations hebben prima verbinding ( hard op 100mb full ) naar de servers ( getest met Iperf ) Ik zie ook geen port errors op de switches of andere zaken die aanleiding geven voor het trage inloggen.

Wel heb ik het volgende in userenv.log gevonden:

hij blijft alleen hier al 2 minuten hangen op een bekend profiel ( geen mandatory of roaming )

Mijn vraag is eigenlijk kan iemand voor mij de userenv.log ontcijferen? want ik wordt er niet veel wijzer van ( al gegoogled en al )

Heb je toevallig je GPO's al bekeken? Gooi je testpc eens in een test OU zonder enige policy en maak een test user aan. Kijk of de userenv nog steeds volloopt met meldingen. Zo nee, dan vul je 1 voor 1 weer de gpo's totdat je weer meldingen krijgt. Dan weet je dat je fenomeen in die policy zit.

Kortom, een soort van trial & error actie......

Er staan twee user SIDs in genoemd:

Local Admin account, en die errorcode lijkt erop te wijzen dat er een bepaalde waarde niet wordt aangetroffen (err. 0x2 = NOT_FOUND)

De andere is een Domain user.

Overigens kan je met een sid2user util (google) achterhalen welke user dat dan is.
