Our first announcement relates to our free Basic accounts. If you have any level of paid account, this does not apply to you. This is also part of why we simplified the service levels a bit to encourage upgrades.
Effective December 9, 2007, we will be enforcing the usage limits for free accounts. Our free account users have always been subject to a usage limit, however, they have also enjoyed extended usage as it was not actively enforced. Please be aware that if you are relying on a free account for mail delivery and you exceed the posted limits, your mail domains will be disabled until the next day. The limit on free accounts is currently 1 megabyte of data or 50 messages per day, whichever comes first.
If this will affect you, we strongly recommend upgrading your account to suit your needs. You probably won't find a better deal out there for all the freedom our mail services allow. Our accounts start at only $34.95/year - which is slightly less than $3/month - and continue to allow the unlimited use and extremely flexible usage recommendations you've come to enjoy over the last several years.
Again, if you have ANY level of paid account, this DOES NOT affect you! There are no hard limits on any of our paid accounts. Free accounts will still be available; this is not a required upgrade.
