Ik heb voor het eerst een film op een duallayer dvd gebrand.
Alles ging prima, de dvd is ook afspeelbaar maar aan het einde van de brandsequence kreeg ik de 'Could not perform end of Disc-at-once' error.
Ik heb daar e.e.a over gelezen op dit forum maar in die gevallen ging dat vaak samen met andere fouten, write errors e.d., in mijn geval dus niet.
raar was dat schijf, brander en software de 8x speed zouden moeten kunnen halen maar nero gaf 2,4x als max aan.
Brander en software gebruik ik al tijden voor single-layer brandwerk en zijn betrouwbaar gebleken.
Ook het merk dvd, philips, is toch niet van de minste kwaliteit dacht ik zo.
De brander stamt uit 2005 en ik las dat het wellicht een firmware kwestie kon zijn.
Ik heb e.e.a gevonden en kom de volgende terminologie tegen:

Ik heb nergens een echt goede uitleg kunnen vinden over wat ik het best kan gebruiken en hoe deze in de brander te installeren.
