only local access WAG200G and vista

i have installed a wireless router WAG200G. my desktop (on XP) can connect wireless. my laptop (vista) can find the connection but can't connect. meanwhile i can connect with my laptop to the wireless networks of my neighhours.i have changed the settings from secured to non-secured. i have changed channels. no result.
any idea?
