PS3 en een ACD

Ik ben erachter gekomen dat je een ps3 niet direct aan kan sluiten op een Cinema Display omdat die geen HDCP ondersteund. Nu had ik dit product gevonden: http://www.hdfury.nl/inde...on=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 , waarmee HDCP omzeild wordt. Alleen nu is de output VGA. Weet iemand of er dan weer een (goedkope) manier is om daar weer DVI voor de Cinema Display van te maken?

Als je het voor elkaar krijgt, heb je misschien interesse mijn Fury over te kopen? Ik heb de zoektocht naar een goedkope VGA->DVI namelijk opgegeven. Voor de rest werkt het ding fantastisch.

Met het geld van die fury + wat je 2e hands krijgt voor je ACD + eventueel de oplossing om van die vga terug dvi te maken, is het dan niet handiger om een dell 2407wfp te kopen? meer inputs, hdcp ondersteuning en het design is nu ook niet echt slecht te noemen. Ik weet dat dit niet meteen een direct antwoord is op je vraag zie het als een extra mogelijkheid

Gefen on Monday introduced its HD Mate Scaler, a $349 device that enables you to combine standard and high definition video sources and output them to a a DVI-equipped display, such as Apple’s Cinema Displays.

The HD Mate Scaler features one Digital Visual Interface (DVI) and two component video inputs, digital TOSlink and RCA audio inputs. It supplies a single DVI output, with audio output in either digital or analog formats (depending on which source is selected).

Gefen describes the HD Mate Scaler’s role as having three tasks: It lets you use different video formats and convert them to DVI output; it scales video up and down in all HD formats; and it enables access to three sources using one display so you don’t have to manually plug in or unplug sources.

In practical terms, it means you could use a single DVI-equipped display, such as an Apple Cinema Display, along with a Mac, PlayStation 3 and HD-capable set-top box — all connected to the display through the HD Mate Scaler.

The device outputs pure digital video, and scales High Definition (HD) video at resolutions ranging from 480i to 1080p. It works with all DVI sources and displays. The source switching is managed using an included infrared remote control.

Features in the HD Mate Scaler include HDCP-compliant input, dual 3D motion video adaptive interlacers, noise reduction on analog inputs, advanced color engine technology, aspect ratio control and more.

Also included is a six-foot DVI male-to-male cable, a power supply and user's guide.
