System preferences crasht bij screensaver settings

[Mei]

Ik heb als screensaver de weergave van mijn iTunes covers gekozen. Ik wilde net kijken of ik die wat kon instellen en heb ingesteld dat hij maar 1 rij moest weergeven en als refreshtijd 0 secondes. De screensaver werkt zodanig dat ik nu 2 rijen en 3 kolommen zie en de refreshtijd erg laag is, maar nu crasht system preferences als ik naar het screen saver paneel wil gaan. De andere panelen werken wel, maar deze niet. Copypaste uit het errorlog:

Draait iTunes op het moment van de crash? Probeer het eens in de omgekeerde situatie? Je muziek-bibliotheek bestand is wel helemaal inorde?

iTunes draait en werkt super. Screensaver zelf ook, vandaar dat ik dus absoluut niet snap waar het aan kan liggen.

Ik ging ook even kijken in mijn screensaver pane en zodra ik hem op 2 row's zetten crashte mijn screensaver prefs ook. Heb ze tot op dit moment ook niet meer terug kunnen zetten dus heb nu het zelfde probleem!

Ik kan overigens nog wel andere screensavers selecteren, kan jij dat ook?

Nee, ongeveer 2 seconden nadat ik het screensaverpaneel laad crasht het venster. Ik kan niks instellen of veranderen.

Welke versie van iTunes heb je? Zelf ook even getest, lijkt een bug in de laatste versie van iTunes icm de laatste versie van OSX. Zelf nog geen oplossing gevonden, maar wel een apart probleempje.

Je hebt een bug in de iTunes screensaver gevonden Ik kan op mijn computer het aantal rijen op minimaal 2 zetten, maar als ik 'm met hand op 1 zet loopt System Preferences vast. Je kunt het oplossen door de voorkeuren van de iTunes screensaver te verwijderen (of de waarde weer terug te zetten naar 2). Deze vind je onder

~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.screensaver.iTunesArtwork.############.plist

De ############ is het MAC adres van je eerste netwerkkaart (en0), waarschijnlijk je ethernetkaart.

Is een bekend probleem, ook bij Apple. Heb het ook ontdekt toen ik vorig jaar mijn Mac kocht

Helaas is het probleem nog altijd niet opgelost.
