don't understand this one @ all...
New HighPoint RocketRaid 2320 installed, made a RAID5... worked perfectly
until today! 1 HDD wasn't connected too good so the raid couldn't be formed (duh), the raidcontroller made the known beeping noise...
Now normally you can just turn off your PC connect the loose HDD cable and power up without any probs?!
This time (not that it happened before but still... in theory) I noticed my entire RAID5 was gone!!!
All the devices are recognised (and even initialised->can see this @ my RAID-BIOS) but my array is GONE...
How can I recover the array? I don't want to lose any data...
I know it's not a HDD failure, but still... no fun whatsoever!
Can I just make myself a "new" RAID5 with the already initialised HDD's? Or will this fuck up the RAID completely?
Plz save my precious storage...
THX in advance
Sorry voor het engels, mag perfect in het NL worden geantwoord, ik wsa gewoon ff te "lui" om alles ff te zitten vertalen aangezien ik het ondertss al op veel teveel fora heb moeten posten
