Restricted driver X1600 + dual head niet werkend te krijgen

Goedendag,

Na een paar jaar inactief te zijn geweest met linux heb ik besloten om het weer eens te proberen. Deze keer heb ik voor Ubuntu 7.04 gekozen. Ik heb inmiddels GLX voor compiz aan de praat gekregen (alleen nog traag bij het openen van vensters) door middel van de FGLRX driver van ATI. Nu wil ik graag ook gebruik gaan maken van mijn 2e monitor. Inmiddels heb ik door wat te googlen wel wat how to's doorgelopen maar krijg het desondanks niet werkend.

Dit is mijn huidige xorg.conf file die wel lijkt te werken maar het beeld wordt gespiegelt op beide monitoren ipv spannen.

Ik maak gebruik van 2 identieke 19" CRT monitoren, AMD 64 bit proccesor en een ATI sapphire X1600 PRO 256 MB. Aanpassingen die ik maak door het volgen van how to'seindigen met de fout "could not find screens" of "screens need to be indentifeid by number" (ik weet de preciese melding niet meer). Als mijn vorige xorg.conf nodig zijn kan ik die ook posten. Is er iemand die een soortgelijke config wel werkend heeft gekregen ?
Ik hoor het graag.
