Het heeft te maken met de 4GB geheugen. Heb op het microsoft forum de volgende post gevonden:
IMS4444: Yes my english are not very best i'm Greek.
Raid issue:
Yes ride rocks in all memory setups BUT you can read all over the net that in northbrige set up it's perfomance drops after a wile and they dont know WHY! in my system the performance it does not dropped after a wile. It has something to do with the memory! TRY:
bcdedit /set increaseuseva 1000 (if you dear then RAID it will work IN LOW LOW limit!?)
I was trying to get more free memory from the system this way! it creates 2 Gbytes cash!?
ON board raid set YOU must use 0 or 1 ELSE 5,10 they EAT you CPUs for GOOD! AND THIS IS WHY many motherboards they give ONLY 0,1 on board.
IN 5,10 you must use a pcie card from intel with 500Mhz processor and 256MB memory on it. In me? it works in 1 Gbyte/sec wille i'm giving to it FREE memory to use! Anyway 10 its a mythe you can work in raid 1 mode with 6 disks faster trust me.
The script size is a long story....
VISTA 64 issue:
They DONT performes RIGHT if you put 8 Gb memory basicly if you let the system to 'see' MORE than 7677 you are screwed UP!! TRUST me on this I already have 8 GB and i'm forced to work in maximum addressable limit set to 0x200000000!? AND I DONT CARE ABOUT THE NUMBERS THEY PUT UP ON THE WEBPAGES DO YOU GET ME? this is the real world.
How you gonna set The maximum addressable limit? In GUI it DOESE NOT let you to put a number more than 3584MBytes! You MUST USE command line editor called bcdedit.exe is located in system32 directory!! How you gonna do it? Open a comman line and type:
1) bcdedit /set truncatememory 0x200000000 (8Gb setup system) (it reports 7677 any
NUMBER above that and the system is Very Very SLOW!??
OR
bcdedit /set truncatememory 0x100000000 (4Gbyte system setup)
bcdedit /set truncatememory 0x80000000 (2Gbyte system setup)
bcdedit /set truncatememory 0x40000000 (1Gbyte System setup)
If you dont like hexadesimal then you must type the BYTES in there all off them it does not accept Gb type or Mb type in order to help US!? Anyway 1 Gb is 1073741824 bytes they telling us from Microsoft But it has more in kingstone dims anyway..
2) bcdedit /set pae ForceEnable
IF you HAVE QUAD processor also type:
3) bcdedit /set numproc 4 (this is telling Vista to use 4 prossecors by default they USE ONLY ONE processor!)
All the above will also speed UP your system BOOT/GUI in every case senario! Trust me.
I'm telling you VISTA 64 They CANT intsalled if you have 4 GB on the motherboard you MUST USE ONLY 2 Gb in wille setup and then you must put more + you must Download the updates from microsoft MANUALLY couse an update for the new agent it will screwed UP your system for GOOD trust me. One update is 'solves' a problem for putting more memory i dont remember...
I'm telling you You MUST set form the motherboard BIOS the native mode to off! ELSE? The iaStor.sys IT saves everything with errors and your installetion is SCREWED UP. Anyway my motherboard supports native mode ONLY in port 0,1,2,3 NOT in 4,5 and then I must do a raid setup to work in ACHI mode BUT i allready have 6 disks..
The Drivers protected memory area ISSUE:
You dont have to worry about the driver area if your motherboard support Protect Execut In BIOS! I have set this to EANBLE. Then you can PUT vista to protect your kernel drivers memory area by typing in command line:
bcdedit /set nx Optin
You can enable protection and to the processes by typing
bcdedit /set nx OptOut
But basicly this kind off protection is Hardware and Software related and if the bios motherboard does not support this you are screwed. Also if you OS will not support this you are screed also. Anyway OptOut it have some effect in speed but its ok. YOU dont have to worry about protect areas in memory.. DO YOU get me? Vista Support protect&execute and this is good.
Basicly i'm trying to cover the most off the cases in this threat...
