Ik woont in Frankrijk, en kan daar geen ADSL krijgen.
Ik heb een intern modem voor een inbelabonnement van Orange.
Ik heb ook satelliet-internet via Astranet, met een extern modem F-10 waarvandaan een netwerkkabel naar men PC, een telefoonkabel naar de muuraansluiting, en een coaxkabel naar de schotel. Inbellen duurt lang, of de verbinding valt weg, en ik krijgt deze foutmeldingen:

Probleem voor de topicstarter was dat de helpdesk enkel Franstalig en Duitstalig is. En Franstalige computertaal is zéér lastig - ook als je redelijk Frans spreekt. Ordinateur!

Heeft die helpdesk een email-adres? Dan zou je de foutmeldingen naar ze toe kunnen mailen, met de vraag wat er mis is.

Het gaat om een LAN-verbinding naar een extern modem (dat ook een inbelmodem bevat), en om een gewoon intern PC-modem. Van die laatste zijn het IP-adres en de standaardgateway identiek.

("ingeshakeld" is een typefout van Microsoft: geen configuratie-fout).

Je krijgt een lokaal IP, waarbij 192.168.30.1 je modempje is..

Aan deze IP config kunnen wij niet heel erg veel zien. Behalve dat je verbinding met je modem hebt.

Nu ben ik nowhere near een expert op het gebied van satellietinternet, maar dat klinkt als een foutmelding van je ISP. 'signaalkwaliteitprobleem' / 'teveel packets verloren gegaan'..

Ben bang dat je toch aangewezen bent op de helpdesk gezien de reacties. (waarom woon je in frankrijk als je geen frans spreekt ? )

Post anders eens wat screenshots van de webinterface van je modem (zoals te zien in de PDF) ? Misschien is dat iets duidelijker.

Je vraagt je toch af waarom zoiets te koop staat:
Bevalt satelliet-internet niet?
Is het toch te prijzig?
Is een WiFi-straalverbinding over 10 kilometer sneller? En goedkoper?

Ik snap ook niet waarom dat modem niet op leenbasis is: de schotel kun je nog wel gebruiken, maar het modem is nutteloos zonder abonnement.

ik heb de sateliet antenne door een gespecialiseerde firma laten plaatsen , heb daar 5 jaar garantie op , als ik op de site van astra kijk ( http://f10) staat de melding van de antenne in het groen , dat wil dus zeggen , perfecte verbinding ?
