fujitsu amilo li1705 notebook

Hallo,

Ik heb een amilo li1705 gekocht, maar er zat windows vista basic op. Ik heb die eraf gegooid, en er windows xp pro sp2 opgezet. dit werkt gewoon een stuk relaxter. Nu lijkt het erop dat die laptops alleen maar drivers online hebben voor windows vista omdat dat vanaf de fabriek meegeleverd wordt.

Het lijkt mij zo sterk dat er geen driver te vinden is voor mijn onboard audio en 56k. modem. Deze zitten op 1 bus. (high definition audio bus en high definition modem bus)

De bus die die de audio aanstuurt is volgens een li1705 pdfje : vt8237a.
Maar ik heb dus geen geluid op mijn laptop omdat ik echt niet weet welke driver het moet zijn.

Zou iemand me misschien op weg kunnen helpen?

Je moet even te weten zien te komen welke HD-Audio Codec ze gebruiken, dat kan zijn:

Realtek
C-Media
Analog Devices (Soundmax)
Sigmatel

Realtek gebruikt 1 universele driver, de anderen niet(per chipset verschillend).

Qua modem moet je gewoon zoeken met AIDA32 oid.

Misschien dat je hier eens verder moest zoeken, want dit lijkt werkelijk niet eens op eigen inzet

Als ze op de beide bus zitten, moet je gewoon de realtek driver afhalen. dan heb je geluid, en die 56K modem gebruik je tohc niet

Yes you all heard that correct, several people on the forum have now got the Amilo LI 1705 notebook to run Windows XP Pro successfully… so read on… you NEED TO!!!

Make sure that you use Windows XP Professional with SP2 INCLUDED… this is because the XP Pro version with SP2 included has the HDD, track-point mouse, and ethernet drivers built in … if you don’t use this version of Windows, then the install ‘blue-screens’ and you end up putting Vista back on the Amilo like I first did - oh dear

Now you have used the Windows XP Professional install complete with SP2 on the Amilo, you will find that the Amilo starts up with a ‘getting away with it’ graphics driver, and that it also needs the following drivers that are NOT included in the XP Pro SP2 install disk:

[1] graphics driver [the real one, of course]…
[2] modem driver…
[3] wi-fi driver…
[4] sound driver…

About the Amilo XP Sound Driver:

This is the trickiest of all the XP Amilo drivers to install… ... one person wrote and told me that the Amilo XP sound driver is NOT easy to install… he had to install it 2 times and also re-set his pc.. but when he did re-set, the sound worked just fine... all of the other drivers go in ‘easy-peasy’…
