Wat is nou eigenlijk het verschil tussen 15 & 16 head-modus?

Net nieuws harde schijf binnengekregen.
Nu is beschrijving behoorlijk karig en ik vroeg mij dus af wat het verschil is tussen 15 & 16 head-modus.
Is dat ATA/33 & ATA/66??
En zo ja, welke is dan welke ...

inderdaad dat kan ik ook op mijn nieuwe HD instellen maar ik ou ook niet weten wat het is, staat standaard op 16 (net zo als vroeger) dus dan zal het wel goed staan, dus als iemand het weet graag!

Some systems may require you to use the 15 head logical architecture. This is because they translate a drive greater than 4 GB by multiplying the head count by 16. The result (16 x 16 = 256) is interpreted as 0 heads with a 0 capacity and is an illegal head count. Selecting the 15 head logical jumpers produces a legal translation (16 x 15 = 240). The translated cylinder count varies to achieve the drive's full capacity.
