Help for New PC

Hi All;
Sorry for not writing in Dutch as I believe good english is better than bad dutch.I am here for studies since 4 months and so dnt know much around here.I am looking to buy a new PC mostly for gaming though not at highest settings.Mostly i will play FPS ones like BF2 etc.And it will be working almost 24/7 downloading etc.A silent one is preferred.

I dnt know much of other things.Also I prefer water cooling if it doesnt get out of budget.All advices are welcome Is there a chaper alternative withour much difference?

My configuration, 835 euro.

I can tell you the shop I am planning to buy from.

Processor is best at the moment.
Motherboard has installed firewire and wifi. The non-deluxe version costs 50 euro less, but doesn't have those two things. Wifi and firewire cost 30 euro extra if you like, so it only is 20 euro difference. I prefer deluxe, but if you don't need wifi etc its 50 euro less for p5b.
PC6400 from V-Data currently, I would prefer kingston but its 20 euro more. Also, only for overclocking. If you don't need that, take pc5300 kingstons (same price).
Nec is most taken dvd so its decent.
Samsung spinpoint HD's are faster and quieter than other's.
X1950Pro is currently best price/performance, although 7900gs is also good (256mb is I think 50 euro less). I am still deciding which to choose.
Sonata III is better and 10 euros more, take that (I am going to too).

Thanks for all the replies.I have to buy one this week preferraby.Any ideas on how much the cooling might cost?This is part part I have no idea of.Is it possbile to buy a full water cooling system?And how much would it cost?

If silence is a must, then i would recommend a change of PSU, perhaps a fully passive one? Aswell as a case fitted with silencing mats, the antec p180 or antec solo for example. Although more money will mean less noise, the Arctic Freezer Pro should do when not overclocking and is cost effective.

Also, i would go with a 640MB version of the 8800 and a second drive for windows. Perhaps also replace the hitachi with a western digital or samsung drive for less noise during write/seek if you download while sleeping.

Watercooling would be expensive, and the passive chipset combined with a silent case, decent CPU cooler, passive or silent PSU and perhaps aftermarket videocard cooling should be almost as effective when used properly and most likely alot cheaper.

Hi I read that.Of course translated to english.It says dont ask general questions If I am right.I have a config and is asking is there a cheaper or better alternative to those.Where is cheaper in Netherland etc.I did read throuh some reviews etc and this is what I chose.But there are more ppl who has more ideas.And also the question is about watercooling if its possible.

If there are any amendments plz let me know.I will change it.But as far as I see it sticks to rules and there are some other similar posts from searches too

Prizes regarding your choices, such as "how much would aircooling cost and how much more would watercooling cost", are at the very least disregarded.

Look up some of the more expensive components via pricewatch, choose the cheapest reliable shop. Compare some options first, we can't advise without full info (and full info is required, this is clearly stated in the sticky)

Pak er eens wat benchmarks en reviews bij. Lees deze en maak op basis daarvan een keuze. Uiteraard kun je ook nog ervaringen op zowel GoT als in de Tweakers.net Productsurvey opzoeken om te kijken of er veel problemen met bepaalde onderdelen voorkomen .
