Hi all,
Excuse me for typing in English, but it takes me three times as long to produce something only half as readible in Netherlands. Please feel free to reply "in het Nederlands".
In the bginning of this year I started up a web development company in the Netherlands as a ZZP'er. My major reason is so that I can work as a freelancer and work for as many clients as I like, also internationally.
Unfortunately I'm not earning enough with the business pay the rent.
However I have found other work, in a completely different field, that would be scaffolding ( steigerbouw ), also working on a freelance basis.
I have talked to my book-keeper, he says that I need to start another business as I can't combine scaffolding with web-development in the one company. I see his point, but then he expectrs me to hire him again as a book-keeper, doubling my accounting costs, I then also have to make sure that each company has enough clients or "opdracht-gevers" so that I do not get problems with the tax office regarding "fictieve dienst verband".
What I would like to be able to do is to be able to work when and where the work is, for example, I don't mind going out in the snow to deliver packages at Christmas time, but I would also like to be doing web-development at the same time.
Is there a solution for people in my sort of situation? I believe it is possible to register at the "Kamer van Koophandel" as a "klusjesman", where the actual services one provides are "loosely" defined. Is that something for me? I am sure there must be other people working for themselves in the IT who have found themselves in the same situation as me, where they need to do completely different work to help keep the money rolling in.
Thank you for your time, and thanks in advance for any reactions.
