[XP] error - systeem crash / reboot

zoals het onderwerp zegt: men systeem crashed.
Heb tot over een tijdje vista geïnstalleerd... maar dit werkte niet zo stabiel op men pc (crashte regelmatig), en enkele programma's dat ik nodig heb voor school hebben nog geen update of dergelijke klaar, zodat ik die programma's niet kon draaien. Daarom heb ik een week of 2 geleden vista terug eraf gesmeten en terug overgeschakeld naar xp (na volledige format)
Nu heb ik enkele problemen met men win xp.
Sedert dat ik xp geinstalleerd heb, krijg ik als ik men pc gebruik, plotseling zo'n blauw death-screen (wel gekend uit win 98). Waarna hij automatisch opnieuw opstart. Dit krijg ik op willekeurige tijdstippen. (vb tijdens film afspelen met vlc, muziek beluisteren met itunes, opstarten van firefox, zelfs bij idling).
Nadat men systeem terug is opgestart, krijg ik de foutmelding: "windows is hersteld van een zware fout...."
Als ik dan daarna kijk in men logboeken, zijn er voor de verschillende errors steeds andere foutcodes. De laatste (5 min geleden) was diegene hieronder:

Als ik dan kijk, heb ik op al men harde schijven, nog meer dan 10 gig over aan plaats. En heb 1GB aan ram geheugen zitten. (+virtueel geheugen tss 1.5 en 3GB) Maar zeer zware programma's draaien doe ik niet, waardoor men ram geheugen eigenlijk nooit vol zit. Dus versta ik de fout niet echt...
Ook heb ik gecontroleerd of al men hardware in orde zou geïnstalleerd zijn, maar daar vind ik nergens een fout in terug.
Heb de laatste winxp updates geinstalleerd, net als diegene voor men mobo, gfx card...
Ook zou het probleem niet aan men voeding kunnen liggen denk ik (dit heb ik vroeger nog gehad, voeding leverde te weinig stroom toen), want heb niets van hardware bijgestoken, en vroeger ging het wel...

Kan iemand me helpen?
Nogmaals formatten lijkt me een oplossing, als echt niets anders meer kan/gevonden wordt.

Gebruik je ook Exchange op die computer?
Lijkt me niet dat die foutmelding bij die beschrijving hoort.

zou niet weten voorwat Exchange dient... of van welk programma het gebruikt...
