[CSS / HTML] ul volledige breedte van div

Beste mensen.

Ik ben bezig met een website en wil mijn ul over de hele breedte van mijn div krijgen. in FF doet hij dat allemaal heel erg goed maar in IE7 niet. Ik heb al lopen zoeken op google en hier. het is een simpele UL geen anchors erin ofzo.

wat ik dus wil is dat de ul in IE7 over de hele breedte van die maincontent loopt. als er anchors instaan is het geen probleem dan is het makkelijk maar zonder werkt niet.
