Using the PCI Express x16 on ESPRIMO P5915

Greetings.

I am considering an ESPRIMO P5915 as a hardware test platform. For this I need one PCI Express slot which is at least "x8". Thus a x16 slot of the ESPRIMO P5915 fits the bill.

However, in the motherboard info I read that the x16 is "for a graphics card".

Hence the question: can I use the x16 slot as a general-purpose PCI Express slot on this motherboard?
