Het wordt wel niet expliciet genoemd, maar het lijkt alsof het artikel tweaktown.com als bron voor de benchmark EN de foto's beschouwd, veel van de reacties zijn daar dan ook op gebaseerd.

Maar uit de info op Tweaktown.com zelf, blijkt heel duidelijk dat zij niets van doen hebben met de benchmarks:

Another website recently claimed to have benchmarks of the retail Radeon X2900XTX and while they may be accurate at this point in time (3DMark06 score at 1600x1200 resolution is 97xx on the R600XTX compared to 95xx on the 8800GTX) there is still no optimized driver ready for R600. Beta drivers will be released around Catalyst 7.4 (April) but the final and fully optimized driver will not be ready until Catalyst 7.5 (May).

If we really wanted to pull enough strings, we could have benchmarked this card but it would not be fair on AMD and ATI as their driver isn’t ready and they are already going to have enough problems with nVidia breathing down their necks with the upcoming GeForce 8800 Ultra which is set for an April launch.

En zoals door Skyline GT-R terecht wordt opgemerkt, wanneer het om foto's gaat zijn die van VR-Zone veel interessanter.

Misschien toch al met al reden genoeg om het artikel iets aan te passen, zeker gezien het feit dat dit een onderwerp is waar veel Tweakers zich op zullen storten, het was ook meteen mijn eerste klikje

Ik heb de link naar VR-Zone in het stuk gezet; zo te zien is dat ook de bron van de cijfers die TweakTown gebruikt. Wie met de cijfers kwam boeit me echter minder dan de cijfers zelf, dus daar ga ik niet omheen schrijven
