Sharepoint WSS 3.0 SSL enablen werkt niet

De situatie is als volgt:

Ik heb een WSS 3.0 Server met 2 sites.
Deze werken via HTTP prima.

de sites moeten echter beveiligd worden d.m.v. SSL.
Ik dacht dat het zo'nbeetje hetzelfde moet werken als met Exchange maar nadat ik keurig van startcom een SSL cert Class1 heb gekregen deze gekoppeld aan mn site en SSL enable dan werkt de url HTTS://www.domainname.com niet. schakel ik het uit dan werkt HTTP://www.domainname.com wel.

waar gaat dit fout? moet ik in de AM nog wat doen ofzo?

voor de info:
Cert is aangemaakt d.mv. create new certificate bij directory security.
-create now but send it later
-text van de certreq.txt gecopyd en applied bij startcom (Gratis SSL:www.startcom.org)
-Cert gekoppeld in Dir security
-Cert toegevoegd aan de trusted CA via mmc -> Certificates
-Root CA is ook geinstalleerd en de CA draait.

ik ben in enkel de IIS bezig geweest.

in IIS heb ik Cert toegevoegd
SSL enabled op de site (niet op de default website)

Ok, dan ligt het waarschijnlijk daar aan. Je moet nl Sharepoint vertellen welke urls hij moet teruggeven. Check de alternate mapping link onder de Operations tab.

ja en hoe heb jij dat neergezet precies? of hoe moet ik dat precies neerzetten? kan je wat meer info in de goede richting geven?

Extend an existing Web application

 In the Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) section, select Yes or No. If you choose to enable SSL for the Web site, you must configure SSL by requesting and installing an SSL certificate.

Om te testen of je CA wel goed werkt kan je misschien beter een lege virtual server en een test.html aanmaken en daarop je CA installeren en checken of het werkt?

dit had k inmiddels gevonden idd.
De CA is al geinstalleerd dus ik zal die sharepoint sites extenden om te kijken of het werkt. thnx for the help!
