[WIN2000ADV Server] Domaincontroller probleem

Ik heb net AD en DNS geinstalleerd op de server, maar nu wordt er gezegd dat het domein niet bestaat of dat het geen contact kan maken met het domein terwijl de server toch echt de domeincontroller is. In " Configure your server " staat onder AD dat je het volgende moet doen:

START ->RUN->dcpromo

Helaas werkt dat niet, want eenmaal alle gegevens ingevuld geeft de server weer dezelfde melding. Google afgezocht maar helaas, GoT idemdito. Heb ook al geprobeerd om opnieuw te starten, maar ook dat hielp niet. Wie weet hoe ik de AD toch kan uninstallen?

Wat is je exacte foutmelding?

Geef ook eens een" ipconfig /all" output van je DC. Ook kun je DCDIAG en NETDIAG uit de Windows support tools even draaien (staan ook op je install CD, in de support directory). Beide tools testen je configuratie op netwerkgebied.

Vanwaar alle errors? Ik weet zeker dat AD en DNS is geinstalleerd.

Volgens mij gaat het hier verkeerd. Je Domain controller krijgt via DHCP een IP adres, en je DNS server op je Domain controller verwijst zo te zien ook naar je router.

Heef je Server eerst eens een vast IP adres en stel dit ook eens in bij je DNS Server.

Yep, kan niet missen...
Wel daarna even de Netlogon service herstarten (of een reboot van de server). Hierdoor worden de noodzakelijke SRV-records in DNS aangemaakt.

Overigens moe(s)t je eventlog volstaan met errors dat het dynamsch updaten van diverse DNS-record geweigerd wordt door de DNS-server.

Heb nu een vast IP ingesteld op de TCP/IP verbinding en heb als voorkeurs DNS Server zijn eigen DNS Server opgegeven. Verder staat inderdaad het log vol met fouten die nu dus hopelijk verledentijd zijn.

En om uberhaupt wat info te verzamelen. We hebben dat nu al zo vaak uitgelegd. pcexpert is inmiddels ook al een expert op het gebied van mailtjes lezen neem ik aan want we hebben er al diverse gestuurd.
