[XFX8800GTX] FSX in Vista graphics niet beter dan XP?

Vandaag voor het eerst FSX in VISTA V6000 met mijn nieuwe XFX 8800 GTX

Hardware;
- P5N32SLI-SE Deluxe
- 2GB Crossoir XMS Dual 8500 1024 Mhz
- Intel E6600 Core duo 2,9 Mhz
- XFX 8800 GTX 765 MB

- Voeding 480 W (targan) PCI-Express.

De frame rate is hetzelfde gebleven t.o.v. XP-SP2 met DX9.
De graphics zijn NIET ! beter geworden t.o.v DX9, zoals het beweert werdt dat VISTA onder DX10 beter zou zijn.
Ik zou me willen afvragen of de beelden die hier reviews: Sparkle GeForce 8800 GTX en GTS getest
geplaats zijn wel echt is.

Uhm fsx draait nog steeds op dx9 er moet nog een patch komen om gebruik te maken dx10.

DX10 is toch ook nog niet uit, dus zijn de graphics ook nog niet beter. Maargoed wat is het doel van dit topic?

The visuals are improved by the added detail of many objects but also from better texturing and lighting thanks to various new technologies. What we were shown was all in DirectX 9 and looked very good. They also took the time to show a mock-up of what they hope to be able to render in DirectX 10. The difference was staggering so it's hard to tell if they're over-excited or if DirectX 10 will make that big a difference. The mock-up shot included geometry shaders for clouds, high dynamic range lighting, light scatters, churned water with geometry shaders, particle sprays off the water, and stencil shadowing. It all came together to form a pretty nice visual standard. It'll be interesting to see if they can get the game to look like that in motion. If so, there are going to be a lot of happy flyers around the world when Microsoft puts out their free upgrade to DX10 when Vista is released.
