Cisco WLAN Controller - clear config error

Ok, probleempje.. Bezig met configuratie van een Cisco Wireless Lan Controller 2006.
Helaas verkeerde ip adressen en dergelijke gebruikt dus even opnieuw. Ik dacht even snel de config te deleten zodat'k de installation wizard weer kon doorlopen.. Helaas zit'k nu vast in een loop.
Iemand een idee hoe'k dit opgelost krijg?

Laatste boot replies (failed to open, crash handler) blijft ie dus herhalen. Booten vanaf image 1 of 2 maakt niet uit. Nogmaals menu keuze 5 helpt evenmin als powercyclen van de unit.

Problem Description
Customers should not choose the clear config (option 5) from the boot menu on controllers running 3.2.78.0, 3.2.116.21, 3.2.150.6 or 3.2.150.10, 3.2.171.5 or 3.2.171.6, 4.0.155.5 or 4.0.179.8 and 4.0.179.11.

Background
Due to bug CSCsg18356 in clear config code, the eeprom.dat file does not get backed up and is deleted during clear config. This is the file which holds serial number, Mac Address and other manufacture information related to the box. Without this file, the WLC2006 controller cannot bootup and the unit has to be RMA'd.

lekker nuttig ook dat dit niet in de release notes staat
Ook wel "raar" (lees: ongehoord schandalig) dat zowel de primary als de secundary IMAGES corrupt raken door het clearen van een CONFIG.

question mark, knap gevonden, zit al een half uur te googlen zonder resultaat. Mag'k vragen hoe je die info precies hebt gevonden?

Edit: nu'k er even bij stilstaat.. best logisch dat het niet bij de release notes van de betreffende versie staat.. toen hadden ze't nog niet ontdekt. Bij de volgende releasenotes staat't gewoon bij zie'k nu.
