Terminal server: pictogrammen verdwenen bij shortcuts*

Goedenmiddag,

Bij mij op het werk werken we met terminal servers waarop gebruikers inloggen en gebruik kunnen maken van Office XP. Nu is het volgende aan de hand, alle pictogrammen van documenten zijn veranderd in standaard Windows pictogrammen (wit venstertje met een windows vlagje erin) Voor gebruikers is het niet meer te zien wat wat is. Ook zijn de pictogrammen in het startmenu veranderd van de icoontjes naar een standaard windows pictogram.
Het gekke is het deed zich op 2 terminal servers tegelijk voor.
Weet iemand een oplossing of een tip voor dit probleem. Ik heb al gezocht hier op tweakers en op google maar ik word er niet echt wijs uit.

Dit heeft dus niets van doen met Office en alles met Windows (TS). Dus OFF -> WSS. Welke WIndows versie?

How do I clear the Windows Explorer icon cache?

When working with icons on Windows, you may sometimes fail to see changes to the icon being reflected on the desktop or in Windows Explorer. The reason is because Windows Explorer keeps a cache of icons.

A quick way to clear this cache is to go to the Appearance tab of Desktop properties and change the default icon size. If the current size is 32, change it to 33 then press the Apply button. After all the disk activity settles down, change the size back to 32, and apply again.

If that doesn’t work, you should also try rebooting the system. That’s guaranteed to flush the cache

Het rebooten van de machine of het clearen van de iconcache heeft helemaal niets uitgehaald. Het is ook alleen maar bij office applicaties en office documenten, Alle andere documenten zijn gewoon goed.
We werken met versie: 5.2

De logfiles...Ik heb de eventlogs van beide servers al bekeken maar vind helemaal niets terug dat duid op het probleem wat zich voordoet

De vraag is hoe herstel ik het zodat de gebruikers weer zien wat wat is.
Heb bij mapopties - bestandstype het icoon hersteld dit zonder succes.
