[K3] Spamfilter rules exporteren?

Ik heb een laptop waar outlook opdraait icm K9 spamfilter.
De tijd dat ik K9 heb gebruikt heeft het programma een hoop geleerd wat spam is en wat niet, nu wil ik een herinstallatie van windows doen maar nu wil ik niet weer beginnen bij 0...

Is het dus mogelijk om de spamregels te exporteren en later weer te importeren?
Heeft het nut om het hele programma mapje (waar welliswaar alleen de K9.exe instaat) te kopieren en later terug te zetten?

Zet K3 geen settings in c:\documents and settings\$username\applications data\K3 ofzo?

Of een export-functie. Staat zoiets niet in de handleiding?

Ik ken K3 niet, maar ben er wel in geinteresseerd...is het freeware? Kan ik het ergens downloaden?

In dat geval was mijn reply (die je niet gezien hebt ) dus wél nuttig. Anyway, een halve minuut zoeken op de website van K9 geeft je het antwoord:

All of K9's files will be found under the Emails directory. Depending on your operating system this directory may be in the same location at which you have installed K9 (usually at C:\Program Files\KeirNet\K9\Emails) or else under your C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data folder. The two most vital files are found in the DB directory and are called good.dat and spam.dat. These 2 files hold K9's knowledge. From version 1.28 on you can quickly navigate to the appropriate directory by going to the K9 Statistics tab and clicking the View Folder button. In prior versions, the Statistics page will show you where the files are located in the Word Databases section.

If you have setup a whitelist or blacklist you need to copy the blacklist.txt and whitelist.txt from the DB directory.

The statistics are stored in the registry. If you want to transfer these you should export the registry branch at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\KeirNet\K9 and import it on the new machine.
