dualhead setup werkt niet 100%

Mijn vorige topic waarin niemand reageerde uiteindelijk opgelost door mijn hdd op de primaire IDE controller te zetten en mijn swap + dvd op de secundaire :+

Maar dit probleem ligt wat lastiger denk ik :) Ik heb een dualhead setup gemaakt. Links een 17 inch tft scherm en rechts een 15 inch. Het werkt perfect, bijna !

Mijn rechterscherm is zwaar ligt en hij rekt het beeld beetje iets te ver uitin de hoogte... het probleem is dat er op dat scherm enkel een aan en uit knop zit en geen 'auto' knop of iets om contrast enzo aan te passen.

Weet iemand een tooltje voor linux waarmee dit aan te passen is ?

specs monitor:
Linkse is een 17 inch monitor van videoseven.. verdere specs weet ik zo niet. Van de rechter weet ik enkel dat het een 15 inch is met een maximale refreshrate van 60hertz :P En die heeft enkel een aan en uit knop.

Ik hang beetje tussen beginner en linux expert in :)
Mode-lines kun je berekenen om de timings (hsync, en vsync) van je videokaart met die van je monior gelijk te richten.
Meestal kun je deze lijnen weglaten in je xorg.conf, maar juist voor dit soort problemen heb je ze nodig om de instellingen te fine-tunen.

Je hebt dus vrij specifieke info over je scherm nodig, maar met de max 60hz kom je al een redelijk stap verder.

ok maar ik weet het merk van mijn rechterscherm niet eens :P Dat is echt zo'n ding wat ik ooit via marktplaats kocht.
Enig idee dan hoe ik aan die hsync enzo kom ? :-)

Ik heb net even die modline aangemaakt met dat tooltje en de modline toegevoegd. TOen ik x had herstart had ik op rechterscherm geen beeld meer :S Dus ik heb de modline er maar weer uitgehaald :-)

Maar voor linux is er toch ook zo' n tooltje waarmee je beeld kunt verplaatsten, vergroten etc. Ik heb er toch ooit een gehad toen ik mijn linkerbeeldscherm nog niet had maar enkel het rechterscherm :-)

Maar weet echt niet meer hoe dat heet.
