[Auzen X-Mystique] SP/DIF aan krijgen onder Vista x64

Ik heb na veel geklungel drivers kunnen installeren voor de X-Mystique onder Vista x64 trial:
Bij opstarten: F8 - Disable driver signing enforcement
Via device manager de 64 bit driver van Windows XP installeren, welke te vinden is op de Auzentech website.
De geluidskaart werkt nu en geeft output....op de analoge uitgang.

Aangezien ik gebruik maak van Dolby Digital Live via SP/DIF wil ik graag alle audio via de driver over SP/DIF laten lopen. Xear3D, het configuratieprogramma dat meegeleverd word, zorgt voor een complete crash van het systeem zodra ik deze start.

Weet iemand een mogelijkheid om via third-party software of bijvoorbeeld een registry edit de instellingen zo te wijzigen dat alle audio via de DDL chip over SP/DIF gaat lopen?

Ik heb uiteindelijk het probleem opgelost (en hoe). Ik heb de workaround ergens anders beschreven, maar zal hem hier ook even copy pasten!

I just got Vista x64 trial up and running, even with the X-Mystique. For other customers, this might interesting as a work-around. I'll try to describe the steps I took to get the X-Mystique working with Dolby Digital Live.
1. At Vista boot, hit F8 and boot in the following mode: "Disable driver signature check" (Note: you will always have to do this, till a signed driver gets released)
2. Get the Windows XP 64bit drivers from Auzentech website, and extract them to C:\Driver (as an example!)
3. Get Auzentech X-Meridian drivers. Extract all contents, to C:\Driver\AuzenMeridian
4. Copy and paste everything in the XP 64\Driver folder to the AuzenMeridian\Driver\PCI folder, but DO NOT overwrite anything!
5. Edit the CMxHITEC3**1 files, and make sure they contain the following:
[C3D64.CopyList]
CMCnfgP64.cpl
6. Now, run the Auzen Meridian setup. Don't install anything EXCEPT the Media Rack software.
7. Go to Device Manager. Manually install the drivers from there, select the following folder: AuzenMeridian\Driver\PCI
8. Now, the X-Mystique is installed. Tho, DDL modus is not set yet. To setup DDL:
Start the installed MediaRack, and press the "C-Media Audio Configurations" button. You will notice your system will hang. It will hang for about 3-5 minutes. After this, the usual Xear3D setup program is running. From here, you can enable DDL. Enable it.
9. Make sure the followoing is set: Go to: Control Panel -> Sound -> Speakers -> Properties.
Go to the "Levels" tab and set it to 50.
Now you should have 5.1 surround on your DDL receiver!

This might sound very complicated, but it got my X-Mystique working under Vista x64!
