An aquaintance told me that it should be no problem to overclock my Celeron
366@550 Mhz, he is doing the same thing at his machine. I guess what it
means is setting the FSB at 100 Mhz; what kind of voltage I should run the
CPU then.
My system consists of :
Asus P2B-F Slot 1 Motherboard
Celeron 366 Socket 370 in a Asus Socket to Slot1-Adaptercard
Coolermaster CPU Cooler
192MB PC-100 Memory.(in fact 128 Mb of it is PC133)
Asus 3800 (nvidia TNT2) VGA-Card
1 ISA-SB32 Soundcard
1 PCI-2940 U/UW-SCSI Adapter
2 Realtek Netwerkcards.
Since this is a quite old motherboard there is not really a in between
stepping possible On the other hand, running the FSB on something like 83
Mhz might fuck up the PCI/AGP-devices, so for them 100 Mhz FSB is much more
trustable.
Now I am looking for people who did the same thing?
Any help, suggestions of opinions appreciated
