[WiFi] Breezecom RB-DS.11

Op dit moment zijn we bezig wat pro WiFi apparatuur in te stellen.
We zijn in het bezit gekomen van Breezcom (Alvarion) apparatuur.
Echter het volgende probleem:

De RB-DS.11 schijnt een soort van AP te zijn die blijkbaar word geactiveerd als hij een link krijgt van een BU-DS.11
Nou staat er in de handleiding van het apparaat dat het volledig WiFi compatible zou zijn, dus moet het naar mijn idee ook werken zonder alleen Breezecom (Alvarion) apparatuur.

Is the DS.11 compatible with other DS equipment from other vendors? The DS.11 is compatible with other IEEE 802.11b compliant devices from other vendors. However, in some cases it may not interoperate if the other manufacturer’s implementation is not pure 802.11b. The BU-DS.11/RB-DS.11 can operate at 1 and 2 Mbps with legacy 802.11b DS equipment, provided the Short Preamble option is not enabled. It can operate at all rates with 802.11b High Rate DS equipment. BreezeNET DS.11 units are also fully WI-FI compliant. When the proprietary Scrambler differentiating option is activated, the units will not interoperate with equipment from other vendors.

Met NetStubler kan ik echter niks vinden... hij pikt dus niks op.
Ongeacht hoe de RB ook in gesteld staat.

In de handleiding word alleen een voorbeeld gegeven van een point-to-multipoint verbinding.
Dat wil dus zeggen: 1 BU en meerdere RB's (Remote Bridges dus )
De BU is dus een zogenaamde Base Unit.

Kan iemand mij vertellen hoe of wat het nu echt werkt?
Of nou echt de RB alleen verbinding kan maken met een BU?
Of een BU wel met een normale WiFi NIC kan connecten etc etc etc.
Er is zo superweinig over bekend en al helemaal hier op GoT al niet
