Ik heb dus deze laptop en wil graag een Dawicontrol PCMCIA FW800 kaartje erop aansluiten. Dit kaartje heeft 2 800 poorten en 1 400. Echter als ik de kaart erin steek herkent hij alleen de FW400 
.
Nu heb ik hetzelfde kaartje op een andere laptop getest en daar werkt alles gewoon perfect. Het lijkt dus alsof mijn mobo van mijn laptop niet overweg kan met het kaartje. Klopt dit? En zoja zijn er ook nog FW800 kaarten met een andere chip erop zodat ik geen conflicten meer heb? (Heb al gegoogled maar het lijkt alsof alle aanbieders hetzelfde kaartje verkopen)
Net gevonden dat het FW800 kaartje een TI PCI 1410 van Texas Instruments gebruikt.
En de laptop een TSB 82AA2 voor de aansturing van de Firewire.
