I use XBOX 360 as extender of XP Media Center Edition.
Media streaming between PC and Xbox is working well. One problem though.
When a movie ends or is stopped the connection is lost. The message that is generated by MCE and that appears on the TV reads: "another user or application on the windows media center-based PC has disconnected this device". I have to exit Media Center and launch it again to watch another wmv file.
The PC system event logs the following events after during this disconnect:
Application popup: ehshell.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services : Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Application popup: verclsid.exe - DLL Initialization Failed : The application failed to initialize because the window station is shutting down.
Application popup: rundll32.exe - DLL Initialization Failed : The application failed to initialize because the window station is shutting down.
I've searched the internet for a solution but came up with nothing.
Please help. Thank you. Arjan
