Ik heb pas een iMac II DV Graphite SE gekocht en daar draait nu SuSe 10.1 op. Tot zover niks aan de hand, maar nu heb een probleempje met X.

Nml: het beeld staat een dikke centimeter te ver naar links en als de xserver langer dan 5 minuten actief is schiet ie in de stress. D.w.z het beeld begint te bibberen en uiteindelijk springt het beeld op zwart.

Er is niet veel te vinden over de juiste instellingen voor dit model, ik kan me nml goed voorstellen dat ik de HorizSync (30-60) & VertRefresh (43-75) aan moet passen maar ik geen idee wat de juiste waarde zijn. Ook de waarschuwingen dat het verkeerd instellen van deze waarden de beeldbuis kunnen ruineren maken me toch eenigsinds angstig.

Heeft er iemand toevallig X goed werkt op dit model (iMac II DV Graphite SE) of heeft er iemand goede ideeen over het aanpassen van xorg.conf.

Kleine toelichting, die monitor kan veel hogere frequenties aan dan jij hem hebt ingesteld. Die iMac is zo waanzinnig geoptimaliseerd dat verkeerde instellingen wat rare reacties kunnen hebben.
Met de xorg.conf die hierboven staat moet het in ieder geval goed gaan.

Ik had deze instellingen ook gevonden maar niet helemaal goed doorgevoerd :D
