[LG GSA-5160D] Brandprobleem Nero op DVD+R DL

Ik heb een LG Super Multi externe DVD writer, type "DL-DL-ST DVDRAM GSA-5160D", met de nieuwste firmware, versie A303.
Het ding support volgens opgave CDR/RW, DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD-RAM en DVD+R/RW DL.
Met de gangbare formaten cd, - en + dvd's, heb ik geen enkel probleem. ram's heb ik nog niet geprobeerd. MAAR: met DVD+R DL heb ik een probleem: ik krijg dat niet aan de gang.
Geprobeerd heb ik het branden met de meest recente Nero versie, 7.2.3.2, en met een ander programma, SwiftDisc Burning Wizard 1.69, welke speciaal voor DL schijfjes geschikt zou moeten zijn.

Bij het branden met Nero halt hij met de error:
Could not perform start of Disc-at-once

Heeft iemand enig idee wat het probleem zou kunnen zijn?
Ik heb wat dingen die toch -echt- op DL moeten en die schijfjes zijn in vergelijking tot normale +R's nog altijd absurd duur..
