Ik heb overal lopen zoeken maar heb nergens een sluitend antwoord kunnen krijgen. Dit mobotje heeft een ata100 interface... maar een ata100 interface wil niet automatisch betekenen dat lba 48bit geimplementeerd is.

Weet iemand of dit mobotje lba48 heeft, en dus ook schijven boven de 137gb kan aanspreken?

as a side note... met freebsd 4.9 zou je 137+gb schijven moeten kunnen aanspreken ook al ondersteund de chipset het niet... zijn hier nog nadelen aan?

(yes, utfs en rtfm zijn al gedaan)

hmm is software lba48 dan een goed alternatief, of is het beter om onder de 137 gb te blijven?

mja maar heeft dat asus bordje een aparte hd controller of gebruikt hij gewoon de amd bridge?
