Ik heb nadat ik 3D Studio Max 8 heb geinstalleerd deze error bij het opstarten.

License status [0.1.0011]



Dit probleem zou dus kunnen komen door SATA volgens Autodesk.

Description of Problem
After you activate and then restart your product, you receive error 0.1.0011 or 11.1.6011 and are required to reactivate.

This problem can occur for Autodesk's 2006-based products on computers with SATA Raid controllers.


Note: This update must be applied to all computers that share a license. Therefore, if you apply this update to one computer and then want to use the Portable License Utility to transfer the license to another computer, be sure to install the update on that computer, too.

If this update is applied to a computer that does not have a SATA Raid controller, the license on that computer will be broken. You will need to reactivate the product to repair the license.

Ik heb een een ASUS A7N8X-XE met SATA. Deze heb ik uitgeschakkeld staan in de BIOS omdat ik geen SATA HDD's gebruik.

Ik heb de patch uitgevoerd maar het heeft niet geholpen, ik heb 3dsmax8 al diverse keren ge-her-instaleerd en onder mijn eigen account (volle rechten) en de administrator. Ik heb de SATA al uit en ingeschakkeld in de BIOS. Opnieuw activeren heeft geen zin omdat hij dan weer terug gaat.

Weet iemand een oplossing voor dit probleem? Wat ik heb gevonden via google komt allemaal op die patch uit. Weet iemand waar de license file staat? Zodat ik deze kan wissen o.i.d.

Gedaan: Op Safecast op de C: gezocht. En deze map gevonden:

Verborgen .dat bestanden tijdelijk ergens anders neergezet maar dit heeft niet geholpen.

2.15 I've heard that the activation technology stores data to the hard drive, outside the normal file system. Isn't that dangerous?
Product activation uses a well-tested process to safely write license data to an unused sector of the hard drive located in track zero. This procedure has proven to be reliable in software installed on millions of computers worldwide. Storing license data in track zero keeps the data safe, even when the software must be reinstalled. This process does not affect the integrity of your hard disk in any way.
In rare cases in which the algorithm determines that writing to track zero may cause a conflict, an alternative file-system-based anchor is used for the license data.
