[Nvidia Geforce 6 Ervaringen] 6800 GX

Ik heb deze kaart onlangs besteld en ik had er nog nooit van gehoord.
Het blijkt dus een 'Sondern-Edition' (lekker duits) (dus een speciale uitvoering) van de 6800NU te zijn, die alleen door Point of View gevoerd wordt.

Momenteel kost hij bij www.sallandautomatisering.nl €140,=.

Het is dus een af-fabriek overgeklokte 6800NU, met 12 pipelines en 5 vertexshaders. Hij komt daarmee tussen de 6800NU en 6800GT/GS in te zitten.

The fan is a we bit noisy "which doesnt bother me because you wont hear it over your games your playing or whatever". so i would suggest purchasing a vga fan/cooler if your into quiet solutions. overall its a must seen as its the only geforce 6800 at a great price in the agp8x range. a must have...''

''This unit falls somewhere between a standard 6800 and a 6800GT Default speeds on it are 350/850 and 12/5 on pipes and shaders.

The pipelines and shaders are hardware masked by the manufacturer. Riva tuner can unlock these, but you have to be lucky for them both to function. I am able to unlock the remaining vertex shader on mine without any problems. However, unlocking the pipelines sadly gives me artifacts. The new forceware Nvidia drivers have an overclocking feature that allows you to increase core/memory speeds quite easily, so get these too.

From a starting 3Dmark05 score of 3988 I rose almost 10% in performance to 4324 by simply enabling the vertex shader and pushing the core/memory speeds a bit.

The card has DVI and VGA and TV out. The box comes with drivers and some utilities (Overclocking etc) and a tv-out cable and handily a DVI to VGA adaptor for anyone looking to dual monitor (DM supported on VGA only). 3 Years hardware warranty is standard.

A decent card, with good overclocking potential, even for a novice (first overclocking I have done!). For anyone wishing to delay the expense of either a high-end card, or switching totally over to PCI-E, it's the way to go...''

Tot nu toe bekende scores (van google):

noel82: 350(gpu) en 860(mem)= 3980 ('05)

grayfox: 400(gpu) en 850(mem) @ 12p,5v = 4500 ('05)

DANY 76: 355(gpu) en 860 (mem) = 4100 ('05)

Op google is zeer weinig over deze kaart te vinden en als je dan toch iets vind, is het in het italiaans of in het duits... Daarom wilde ik graag weten of ook andere mede-tweakers deze kaart hebben/hadden en wat hun ervaringen daarmee zijn/waren. Ook zou ik graag 3dmark scores zien.
Als ik de kaart binnen heb zal ik ook posten.

[Ervaringen]-topics pas openen als je ervaringen te melden hebt. Beetje vaag overigens dat je vraagt naar ervaringen NA bestellen maar VOOR ontvangst - beetje de meest onzinnige tijd...

Iig niet vissen naar ervaringen, als er ervaringen zijn, vind je die door te zoeken. Niets gevonden? Trek dan je conclusies. Als je de kaart zelf binnen hebt en ervaringen te melden hebt, dan heeft een topic als dit misschien zin (al lijkt het me ook dan prima in een grote nVidia 6800 topic passen)
