Q8: What is Auto Adjust function?
A8.: Auto Adjustment” is a user friendly function which helps you calibrate the monitor‘s settings. “Auto Adjust” calibrates the following settings, Horizontal Position, Vertical Position, Clock, Clock Phase and Contrast. “Auto Adjust” is able to detect the signals from graphic card or video card and then has its own MPU(Micro Processor Unit) in LCD monitor to start the internal processes. After 1~5 seconds, the MPU in our LCD will generate the optimum data for those settings. ADI‘s users only have to select the “Auto Adjust” and then the monitor will automatically move the screen to the center of the panel, automatically adjust the ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) sampling rate to get the best quality of screen performance, automatically adjust the input signal level to get optimum contrast for human eyes.
Although “Auto Adjust” is a function that adjusts the image to the appropriate settings automatically. But due to the different inputs from various video cards or graphic cards, there might be some on a certain occasion which will require manual adjustments.
For example, after selecting the “Auto Adjust”, if there is still slight jitter on the screen, please select “Clock Phase“ in the OSD to start micro tunings to get perfect image. After finishing your manual adjustments, please avoid selecting ”Auto Adjust“ again which will change your own settings for personal view.
