Kan ik half life 2 zelf eraf gooien en dan nog wel steeds de mod day of defeat spelen? Of moet ik half life 2 erop houden als ik die mod wil doen?

Nee, die kan je verwijderen. De engine die het spel nodig heeft om te spelen blijft dan wel op je schijf staan bij verwijderen van HL2. (correct me if i'm wrong...)

hmmm dat betwijfel ik ten sterkste maar waarom probeer je het niet? je kan altijd nog opnieuw installeren...

laat ik hier ook mijn probleem posten
ik heb het al eens op het steam forum geprobeerd maar daar wisten ze geen oplossing te geven.
ik kan sinds een maand geleden opeens niet meer verbinding maken met steam, ik krijg dan zo'n schermpje met :
