CD-brander (Toshiba) faalt met Nero

Hallo,

Ik heb een TOSHIBA CD/DVD writer (SD-R5372).
De error-log die ik krijg van Nero (6.6.0.18) bij het branden van een cd volgt onderaan.
Ik heb geprobeerd de firmware van de brander en Nero(dus naar 6.6.0.18) up te daten.
Na de updates heb ik 1 maal een cd kunnen branden, ook al gaf hij na het branden nog een zelfde fout, maar hij was wel gelukt. De tweede keer dat ik probeerde ging het alweer niet meer, na een 10-tal procent in het brandproces geeft hij de fout.
Ik gebruik Windows XP Home(SP2). Ik heb al 2 merken CD'tjes geprobeerd. Ik heb ook al geprobeerd zo veel mogelijk af te zetten (ik bedoel anti-virus,...).
In apparaatbeheer zie ik naast de Toshiba nog 3 generic DVD-ROM SCSI CDRom Devices, weet niet goed wat die betekent, maar bij de fouten sprak Nero ook over SCSI.
De schrijver herkent soms bepaalde CD's niet als ik ze er in steek, weet niet of dit er iets mee te maken heeft, of wat hier juist achter zit.

Foutmeldingen over SCSI kunnen te maken hebben met de chipset drivers of de aspi drivers.

Heb je de laatste versie van de drivers voor je moederbord geinstalleerd?
Ik zie dat je wel de apsi driver van Nero geinstalleerd hebt, dat zou goed moeten zijn maar je zou het ook kunnen proberen met de aspi driver van adaptec:

Geeft de brander ook met het branden van DVD zulke foutmeldingen?

Bij mij nl niet;

ik heb nl een NEC 3540 en deze fikt bij mij alleen nog maar dvdees, geen cdees --> ook fixatie fouten.
Ik heb de firmware al up to date, maar heb na die firmware update nog een paar cdees kunnen branden en opeens geeft ie fouten bij het branden van cdees en niet bij DVD.
Ik gebruik het merk Sony voor zowel de cd als de DVD's.

Wat ik nu merk, door eens een dvd te proberen, hij aanvaardt alleen maar CD-R/RW schijfjes meer. bij een dvd zegt hij gewoon dat hij niet kan schrijven naar dergelijk medium.

Wat heeft dit ermee te maken, hoe kan dit? Iemand een idee?

Ik had het verkeerd, ik kan wel DVD's branden zonder probleem, maar nog steeds geen cd's. Ik begin danig gestoord te worden door die zaak.
