[postfix] connection timed out

Ik heb op mijn server postfix draaien, dit werkt perfect, mits ik een relayhost instel:

relayhost = mail.wanadoo.nl

maar als ik deze weg haal, krijg ik opeens timeouts bij het versturen van mail, of een "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender"

bij de timeouts krijg ik het volgende in m'n logs:

weet iemand hoe dit te fixen is? ik zit nu namelijk aan de mailserver van wanadoo vast.. (die is snel zat, maar zonder wanadoo is de mail toch echt nog sneller op z'n plek.)

Dat komt omdat wanadoo het niet toestaat om direct naar andere SMTP servers te verbinden, uit oogpunt van beveiliging: zo kunnen spywarbots geen spam gaan versturen zonder dat wanadoo het merkt en de klant kan afsluiten of een andere maatregel kan nemen.

hmmz, das jammer.. maar nu weet ik iig dat het niet aan mijn instellingen ligt . dan moet ik het nog maar een tijdje doen met de wanadoo mailserver
