Geen ISO's kunnen branden

Systeem:
Windows XP Pro SP2
P4 2,4
512 MB DDR
Sony DVD RW DRU-530A met 2.1G Firmware (nieuwste)

Sinds kort kan ik geen ISO's meer branden met mijn DVD brander.
Ik krijg als de brander begint met een iso file te branden een focus or tracking error.

Ongeacht welke brandsoftware ik gebruik (alcohol120%, Nero 6 of 7 of welke andere dan ook)
Img, video_ts, mp3's met cue kan ik allemaal nog wel branden, met welke software dan ook.

Ik kan dus zowel geen ISO DVD's branden, maar ook geen data CD's of DVD's waar tussen de files een ISO bestand zit.
Ik kan overigens nog wel ISO's mounten met Daemontools.

Ik snap er werkelijk helemaal niks van.

Nadeel is dus als ik een cd/dvd wil branden met een aantal iso's erop, dit dus niet lukt
En om nu al die iso's uit te gaan pakken .. en dan al die losse files op een dvd/cd te gaan zetten ..

Tot voor kort werkte het nog gewoon, heb echt geen idee wat er veranderd/gebeurd is

Ik heb de nieuwste firmware al geinstalleerd, ik hoopte dat het probleem daarmee verholpen zou zijn, maar helaas.
Ik ben ook niet van merk dvd geswitched.
Al heb ik nadat het probleem (met de oude,vertrouwde dvd's) begon wel wat andere merken geprobeerd om te kijken of het aan de dvd's lag, maar dat was het ook niet.

Het is echt zo vaag.
Als ik nou niks anders meer zou kunnen branden, zou ik zeggen dat mijn dvd speler overleden zou zijn.

Ik hoop dat iemand nog een briljante ingeving krijgt

Dan kom ik op:

Focus or tracking error
- oude/slechte firmware ->heb de nieuwste

- incompatibele media -> Gebruik dezelfde als voor het probleem begon

- incompatibel brandprogramma -> Gebruik dezelfde als voor het probleem begon

- vuile lens -> Waarom kan ik alle andere soorten images of files dan wel branden ?

- stroeve geleiders van laserunit -> Waarom kan ik alle andere soorten images of files dan wel branden ?

- slechte drivers, driverconflicten -> Waarom kan ik alle andere soorten images of files dan wel branden ?

- slechte schijfconfiguratie, ranzige kabels, foute bekabeling en/of jumperinstellingen -> Waarom kan ik alle andere soorten images of files dan wel branden ?

- brander is stuk -> Waarom kan ik alle andere soorten images of files dan wel branden ?

Kon helaas er mijn voordeel niet mee doen

Net nieuwste daemontools, alcohol 120% verwijderd (dat waren de laatste veranderingen voor het probleem) en die nieuwe aspi geinstalleerd.
Had helaas geen resultaat, wederom een dvd vernaggeld bij het branden van een ISO

Dan kom ik op:

Focus or tracking error
- oude/slechte firmware ->heb de nieuwste

- incompatibele media -> Gebruik dezelfde als voor het probleem begon

- incompatibel brandprogramma -> Gebruik dezelfde als voor het probleem begon

- vuile lens -> Waarom kan ik alle andere soorten images of files dan wel branden ?

- stroeve geleiders van laserunit -> Waarom kan ik alle andere soorten images of files dan wel branden ?

- slechte drivers, driverconflicten -> Waarom kan ik alle andere soorten images of files dan wel branden ?

- slechte schijfconfiguratie, ranzige kabels, foute bekabeling en/of jumperinstellingen -> Waarom kan ik alle andere soorten images of files dan wel branden ?

- brander is stuk -> Waarom kan ik alle andere soorten images of files dan wel branden ?

Kon helaas er mijn voordeel niet mee doen

Dan ligt het duidelijk aan software. Daar staat ook het e.e.a. over in diezelfde FAQ

Als je mijn reactie erna ziet, snap je dus dat ik op dat gebied al verschillende dingen heb geprobeerd, maar dat ik er dus echt niet achter kan komen wat het is ....

Vandaar dat ik hoop dat iemand anders dat wel weet

Er zal hopelijk iemand zijn, die dat logfiletje ziet en denkt: dat is het !

Maar aangezien het over een dvd brander en cd's/dvd branden ging dacht ik dat ie in het andere forum beter paste, maar hier staat ie ook best

Net nieuwste daemontools, alcohol 120% verwijderd (dat waren de laatste veranderingen voor het probleem) en die nieuwe aspi geinstalleerd.
Had helaas geen resultaat, wederom een dvd vernaggeld bij het branden van een ISO

nieuwste DTools? =4? = bekende rommelschopper in bepaalde situaties. Trouwens tig verschillende virtual cd programma's ("drivers") en brandprogrammatuur met die functies installeren is vragen om problemen. Is het overigens niet slim om op een +RW te testen?
Heb je al met een andere/schone Windows installatie getest? Heb je je drive al in een andere computer getest?

Daemontools 4,7 was dat geloof ik.
Maar nooit last gehad van Daemontools en ook nu niet met het branden van alles behalve met ISO's.
Net weereen video_ts gebrand enwederom zonder problemen, ik snap er echt niks van.

Verschillende programma's is bijna noodzaak, aangezien ik het te branden materiaal in verschillende formats heb en er is helaas nog geen enkel brandprogramma dat alle formats aankan .

De drive in een andere pc testen is wel een optie, die ik zeker ga proberen, dan weet ik in ieder geval zeker dat het niet aan mijn brander ligt.

Nog wat extra info:

Net met MagicIso wat iso's uitgepakt en dan kan ik de files probleemloos branden.

Dus als iemand enig idee heeft hoe het kan komen dat mijn brander enkel een error geeft met het branden van ISO's dan ben ik hem/haar heel erg dankbaar
