Fake Tekst/Lorum Ipsum cursus ;)

Ik zie regelmatig websites gepost met als content, hier komt de tekst, balbalabla, dit is echt leuk etc.

Normaal gesproken wordt hier een lorum ipsum tekstje voor gebruikt, faketekst met in elk geval het beeld van een echte tekst. Dit geeft een eventuele klant een beter beeld van de uiteindelijke looks en staat wat professioneler t.o.v. eerder genoemde blabla's.

Dus volgende keer, copy & paste onderstaande even in de opzet van de site. En nee, tekst is niet door mij verzonnen.

Is gewoon veel gebruikte fake-tekst voor reclamebureau's, vormgevers etc. Gebruikt voor presentaties van werktekeningen etc.

Het lijkt me persoonlijk latijns oid.. maar weet niemand hier de betekenis van? Microsoft gebruikt die tekst volgens mij ook in voorbeeld documenten. Dus het zal wel een niet al te vreemde betekenis hebben.

Het is geen Latijn, al lijkt het er wel op. Het is complete fake-tekst en wordt al jaren standaard gebruikt door designers om bij voorbeelden tekst weer te geven.

Tja ik copy&paste trouwens meestal een andere tekst van 'zomaar' een site (gewoon een hele algemene site, tekstje van Telegraaf.nl of Microsoft.com, dat soort dingen)... dan staat er ook tekst

Als je even op die link van Anders klikt dan weet je dat het Grieks gemengt met Latijns is, het betekent niks maar is verwarrend genoeg om ergens op te lijken .

Deze tekst werd ook altijd in MS Word gebruikt (oudere versies geloof ik) in templates e.d..

Het wordt al jarenlang gebruikt in de reclamewereld, is toch wel handig als iedereen zich daar een beetje aan houdt, IMHO is het beter dan gewoon zomaar random text pasten. Deze tekst wordt trouwens niet voor niks gebruikt, het lijkt gewoon erg veel op normale text, en alle dingen die in gewone text kunnen voorkomen (lange regels, korte regels, alinea's etc.) zitten in die tekst, makkelijk om te testen dus .

lorem is zo opgezet dat het een goed tekst-beeld geeft: als je een paar woorden intyped en deze vervolgens copy-pasted komen er regelmatige patronen in je tekst terug, dat maakt het moeilijker goed het beeld van je design te beoordelen.

verder heeft de lorem-text een goede verdeling van lange en korte woorden, en verschillende alinea-grootte, aangezien echte tekst ook nooit dat regelmatige kent is dit een goede methode om te checken op die onverwachte afbrekingen e.d. die op kunnen treden in een design.

eigenlijk is html een ultiem platform om te checken met deze tekst want juist deze problemen komen vaak voor.

verder heb ik ok et idee dat die tijdelijke snel ingetypde teksten ("hier komt binnenkort een pagina over ...") nogal eens blijven staan omdat men vergeet de moeite te nemen er nog juiste tekst voor te maken. dat voorkom je ook met dez werkelijke 'fake'-tekst
