Job aanmaken in ArcServe 11.5 i.c.m. HP Autoloader

Ik ben ik het bezit van ArcServe 11.5 en een HP 448 autoloader. Deze autoloader kan voorzien worden van maximaal 8 tapes. Nu wil ik graag 1 keer per week de tapes verwisselen, zodat elke tape voorzien wordt van alle data van die dag. Ik heb de volgende tapes:

SET 1: MAANDAG 1, DINSDAG 1,WOE.., ZONDAG 1 (7 tapes)
SET 2: MAANDAG 2, DINSDAG 2,WOE.., ZONDAG 2 (7 tapes)
MAANDTAPES: JANUARI, FEBRUARI, MAA.., NOVEMBER (11 tapes)
JAARTAPES: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 (5 tapes)

In de even weken wil alle tapes van SET 1 gebruiken waardoor de data van maandag op MAANDAG 1 in Stot 1 komt en dinsdag ... enz.
In de oneven weken wil alle tapes van SET 2 gebruiken waardoor de data van maandag op MAANDAG 2 in Slot 1 komt en dinsdag ... enz.
Als in één van de bovenstaande weken een einde maand zit, dan vervang ik bijvoorbeeld WOENSDAG 1 door NOVEMBER die dan in Slot 3 komt. Dit geldt ook bij het einde van het jaar.

Hoe kan ik dit het beste aanpakken in ArcServe?

• Kan het bijvoorbeeld in 1 job?
• Moet ik een bijvoorbeeld een Mediapool aanmaken?
• Kan ik de tapes in elke willekeurig slots plaatsen?

Met een autoloader of library kun je het beste een GFS (grandfather-father-son) rotation schedule aanmaken, AS regelt dan voor jou welke tape er wanneer in moet en formatteert met het juiste label. Jij bepaalt wat per periode (dag/week/maand) de minimale retentie is.
